And committed to providing top notch customer service. We are 100% locally owned and operated, not part of a national chain, based right here in the Ahwatukee Foothills.

I'm John Telleria, owner and photographer at Sonoran Sky Real Estate Photography. A longtime Phoenix area resident over 40 years and proud to call the Ahwatukee Foothills home since 1991.

My passion for photography started back in the late 70's when I took a 7th grade photography class with my first camera, a Nikon FE SLR film camera given to me by my dad. Much has changed in camera technology since the days of processing film and continues to change.

My introduction to digital photography was a Kodak 1 megapixel digital camera I purchased back in 1998. A few years later I would upgrade to a Canon Digital Rebel SLR and eventually a Canon 7D Mark I. After shooting with Canon equipment for many years, I've recently switched to Sony mirrorless cameras and lenses.

Although my career path took me into computer programming and web development after earning my Computer Science degree at Arizona State University, I've never lost my love and passion for photography, taking photos of nature, landscapes, family events, vacations, sporting events and live concerts in my spare time. In addition to photography, I also enjoy filming video and flying a camera drones, skills I do plan on making use of in my real estate photography business.

I recognize the high importance of quality photographs in real estate with over 90% of home buyers using the internet. I look forward to using my photography and digital media skills in helping local real estate agents and homeowners with their marketing efforts through providing high quality photographs and excellent customer service.
