Aerial Pole Photography

Elevate your property listings above the rest! Camera drones are by far the best option for capturing birds-eye view photographs of large properties over an acre in size. But for most homes on smaller lots with neighboring homes just a stones throw away, drones are actually less than ideal. Shooting from higher than 20 ft shows too much of the roof and neighboring homes, and not enough of the home’s front and rear exterior. A camera mounted on a painters pole fits the bill for most properties, providing results comparable to a drone. A pole mounted camera is very useful in getting a camera elevated above obstructions like fencing or trees that might normally block the camera from getting a clear view of an exterior. Unlike a camera drone, FAA clearance is not required and is much less likely than a drone to make neighbors worry about their privacy being invaded.

For aerial pole photography, Sonoran Sky Real Estate Photography uses a Sony mirrorless APS-C camera mounted on a painters pole that can be extended 8’ to 16’ ft high with the tilt angle adjustable to get the perfect shots.
